It does not constitute legal, security, intelligence, operational, psychological, medical, financial or other professional advice. Accessing the website does not create a professional, advisory, employment, partnership or confidential relationship with CCTIDTO.
Research topics and article summaries do not, by themselves, announce an active program, operational capability, endorsed policy position or completed peer-reviewed finding. The status and review position stated with each item should be read carefully.
3. Sensitive and counterterrorism-related material
Some material may discuss terrorism, violent extremism, genocide, propaganda, emerging security threats, trauma, sexual violence or armed conflict. It is presented critically for education and public benefit. References to a terrorist organisation, its ideology or its claimed religious justifications do not endorse that organisation or attribute its conduct to a religion or community.
Content must not be copied, reframed or used to encourage, glorify, facilitate or provide instruction concerning terrorism, violence, harassment, hatred, discrimination, unlawful surveillance, unauthorised access or other unlawful conduct.
4. Accuracy, status and corrections
CCTIDTO aims to distinguish established fact, testimony, interpretation and opinion, and to identify material uncertainty or contested accounts where relevant. Despite reasonable care, material may contain an error, omission or information that later changes.
Visitors are encouraged to report concerns through the Centre's Editorial Standards and Corrections process. CCTIDTO may correct, clarify, update, restrict or withdraw material where appropriate.
