The Centre for Counterterrorism Innovation and Deep Tech Operations Ltd (CCTIDTO) is an Australian registered charity established to advance education and promote public benefit in the fields of counterterrorism, national and global security, and emerging technologies.
The Centre conducts original, interdisciplinary research. Its purpose-led research examines novel, underexplored and evolving questions at the intersection of counterterrorism and emerging technology. This includes how synthetic media may contest established reports of death and place pressure on verification; how access to advanced air mobility systems could alter terrorist-actor reach, movement and capability; the implications of humanoid robotics in non-violent covert missions; and synthetic human relationships.
CCTIDTO also develops and tests visual imagery as constructive counter-narrative communication, publishes innovative and forward-looking counterterrorism strategies through appropriate platforms, promotes visual and digital media as educational tools, and supports responsible international and multi-sector knowledge exchange. All activity is framed by peaceful, lawful and ethical practice.
Its five original research centrepieces connect the Centre's foundational topics to developing frameworks, models, tools and visual concepts. Public materials communicate the research theory and provenance while protecting unpublished variables, assessment criteria, coding structures, decision mechanics and other research know-how.
