1. Who may express interest
Subject to the Centre's governance, capacity and approval processes, CCTIDTO welcomes early contact from people interested in contributing to its public-interest purpose. Areas of possible future engagement may include:
- volunteer and skills-based contribution;
- student placements, internships and supervised learning;
- interdisciplinary research and university collaboration;
- subject-matter, cultural or community knowledge;
- professional, technical, governance or advisory support; and
- education, workshops and responsible knowledge exchange.
Any opportunity must further the Centre's charitable objects and be consistent with peaceful, lawful and ethical practice.
2. Current engagement position
CCTIDTO is beginning to build a network of prospective contributors and welcomes preliminary expressions of interest for future volunteer, student, research, professional-support and advisory opportunities. The Centre is not yet advertising a specific vacancy, grant or formal public-membership intake, and no automatic enrolment or waiting-list entitlement operates through this website.
An expression of interest is an invitation to make contact. It is not an application to a current role, an offer of employment, an appointment, admission to membership or a guarantee that an opportunity will become available.
3. What to include
A concise initial email is sufficient. It may identify your area of interest, relevant skills or experience, professional or academic affiliation where applicable, the kind of contribution you are considering and any practical availability constraints. A curriculum vitae may be offered, but is not required for an initial enquiry.
4. How future opportunities would be assessed
A future opportunity may require consideration of expertise, charitable alignment, conflicts of interest, research ethics, cultural and community knowledge, privacy, safeguarding, security, legal obligations, available resources and formal approval.
Publication, partnership or participation would not be represented as approved until the relevant process is complete and written authority has been provided by the Centre.
5. Sensitive enquiries and information
Initial enquiries should not include classified, operationally sensitive, confidential or unlawfully obtained material. They should also avoid unnecessary personal information, survivor testimony, distressing imagery or information that could identify a vulnerable person.
6. Future publication of formal opportunities
If an approved role, project or participation opportunity opens, the Centre should publish its scope, eligibility, decision process, privacy terms, closing date and official contact method on this page. Until then, the page should remain informational only.
